The Houses of Parliament have been a staple in England for over 200 years. There are several buildings that you can tour. London residents are able to tour the Parliament on a daily basis while tourists are only able to tour the Houses of Parliament on Saturdays and during the summer opening season. If you want to take in an aerial view of the city of London, you will not want to pass up a trip on the London Eye. The London Eye is no more than an observation wheel. The wheel was designed by a husband and wife team: David Marks and Julia Barfield. With an encasement of glass, people can view the city of London and its landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament and St. Paul’s Cathedral. The wheel spins to get a 360 degree view of the city. One spin in the encasement takes approximately 30 minutes. Ticket lines are usually very long so secure yours in advance. The Hayward

The Concrete is an unusual café located at Southbank Center in London. The café has an industrial look and transforms into a bar at night. However, the focus of this area is not the café and bar, but the Hayward. The Hayward is an art exhibition and events center with a 1960s design.
